I was born and raised in Southern California. I attended Pasadena Community College to pursue my dream of becoming an artist. Part of my curriculum included early childhood and special education courses which sparked an interest in working with special needs children. I began a career in education. My family and I moved to Loveland in 2002. I continue to work with special needs children and decided to allow my passion for art and the work I create to be viewed and enjoyed by others. With the support of my family and friends I continue to follow my lifes’ dream.
I visualize my artwork while awake and in dreams incorporating those things that catch my imagination and allowing them to inspire my creativity. I often have a sketch pad at hand and in every available moment attempt to capture what I feel. I hope my art will inspire children and adults to have a positive outlook, no matter what their circumstances are, and to find their own happiness in life.
